Ardmore Residential Purchases Largest Parcel In Chattanooga Development

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn- Maddox Companies has successfully brokered the sale of a 15 acre parcel of land at the Volkswagen Drive development in Chattanooga, TN this week. The parcel is the largest of several pad sites available in the development. The purchaser, Ardmore Residential, has already broken ground on a 300 unit apartment complex on the newly re-zoned site.

Rezoning was approved and completed in July of 2019 and site development is in progress. The 15 acre site sits high and level and will be accessible via a new 60’ boulevard entrance.

Exit 9, off I-75 in south east Chattanooga, was built by the state of Tennessee to accommodate the new Volkswagen production plant and Amazon distribution center. The two facilities have brought over 4300 jobs to Chattanooga. The site has good visibility from I-75 and is located between Chattanooga’s hot Ooltewah and Gun Barrell Rd./Shallowford Rd. exits. Exit 9 is expected to continue to develop quickly. The remaining parcels are ideal for hotel/extended stay, food service, or retail. The size and layout of the Hotel site is flexible. It will be delivered pad-ready. The remaining retail pads range from .06 to 3 acres. The owner will sell, ground lease, or build to suit.
